Terms of service
Last updated 31 August 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern the services provided by sixedge (“we”, “us”). By engaging us or paying an invoice you agree to them. Questions can be sent to hello@sixedge.com.
2. Our services
We design, build, host and maintain software for our clients. The exact scope of any engagement — deliverables, timelines and fees — is set out in a written proposal or order form agreed before work begins. Where that document conflicts with these terms, that document takes precedence.
3. Fees and payment
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Project work is quoted in advance and billed per milestone. All fees are in US dollars and exclude any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is added where required.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. Invoices are due on receipt unless stated otherwise, and we may pause work or suspend a service on accounts more than 14 days overdue.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not pro-rate part-months. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
5. Your responsibilities
- Provide the content, access and feedback we need to do the work, in reasonable time.
- Make sure you have the rights to any material you give us to use.
- Use the software lawfully, and keep your account credentials secure.
6. Intellectual property
On full payment, you own the custom code and designs we produce specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, and grant you a perpetual licence to use them as part of your product. We may reference the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
7. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only to deliver or receive the services.
8. Warranties and liability
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, the services are provided “as is” and we do not warrant that software will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which sixedge is registered, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
